Changing Bad Vibrations

Quartz crystal points and quartz crystal clusters should be in every home to bring harmony to the life force in the home. Quartz crystals are used in expanding the mind to touch the spirit world.

It is the most powerful, versatile multi-purpose healing stone. This stone will not allow you to wallow in self-pity over that which you can not change!  It amplifies the energy of all other stones and increases your emotional energy.

Communication, wisdom, clarity of thought, intuition, general healing, memory, meditation, transformation, creativity, balance, awakening, cleansing, pureness of heart, intention, higher consciousness, positive thoughts, harmony and love.

Scotch Naturals

Photobucket

Scotch Naturals is a line of water-based, non-toxic polish that is
free of the harsh chemicals found in most solvent-based polishes. You can get online at Spirit Beauty Lounge. Can someone please bring them to Scandinavia?
Me waaaaaaaant!

"Scotch Naturals™ polish has a lot in common with the women who wear it. We are smart, fun, and forward thinking. We care about the environment, and we come in a wide variety of colors. When we want to look and feel our best, we choose natural products, knowing it’s not just healthier for us, but for the world around us."

Today's Wishes - Givenchy

Photobucket

I'm in love with those Givenchy Calf Hair Ankle Boots. For a night out, I would like to wear them with something simple but yet stylish. Like a black tank top, a sherling coat from Paul & Joe and the leather and jersey leggings from Helmut Lang.

This series of images titled "Bildbauten“ is stunning! Go check them out, and read about the projekt. I hope you like them as much as I do.

"The main focus of my interest lies in the creation of images which try to reflect a built, exaggerated reality. Today, digital image editing allows the creation of images which are nearly impossible to distinguish from a photograph."

Din Baghave

Photobucket

Din Baghave is a new kind of greengrocer at Østerbro in Copenhagen, that celebrates traditional virtues of good service and presents freshly harvested, local fruits, herbs and vegetables from conscientious farmers. They have a great blog where you can find inspiration and recipes for your newly purchased goodies. "Totally Copenhipster'ish" says my colleague. If I invite her for dinner, she might change her mind.

Go Amber

Armani Privé Haute Couture Fall 2010
For the beauty look at Armani Privé, makeup artist Linda Cantello was inspired by the color amber, the defining shade for the Italian designer’s couture. For this very natural look, she used the following Giorgio Armani products:

Crema Nera moisturizer
Fluid Master Primer
High Precision Retouch Concealer - on T-zone
Fluid Sheer No. 2 – cheekbones, down the nose and on center of lips
Maestro Eyeshadow No. 3 – on the lid with a wet brush
Maestro Eyeshadow No. 17 – outer corner
Eye Shadow Quad in 03 Earth (light gold color) – highlight inner corner

And what about the hair?
“The hair at Armani Privé was super soft and glamorous, it’s rich looking with a bit of texture,” hairstylist Oribe says. “It’s a very blown out look that almost sweeps into the models’ faces. We kept a little curl at the front with everything mostly straight at the back. We adapted the looks to let each girl’s personality to shine through.”

Nice work, by a damn god photographer!

Since leaving Holland in 1983, he has travelled extensively basing himself in both Milan and New York and shooting for some of the world's leading magazines. In 1995, he chose Paris as his home and has been living there ever since. He is best known for his work in the fashion industry... and I LOVE his work!

Vacant Brooklyn Block Becomes Street Art Gallery

Willoughby Windows transforms 13 vacant storefronts into a street level gallery, bringing art directly to the community. Over 15 well known artists, all with roots in street art, have contributed to this project, most creating site specific works.
This network of visual experiences can help redefine how people visiting, working and living in Downtown Brooklyn think about and interact with their environment during a time of transition.

The first exhibit, opened in July 10, 2009 with much fanfare. The exhibit was a welcome addition to the community and helped enliven the street and neighborhood. People from around the world have come to visit the installations, with great acclaim. Read more here

Chanel Summer 2010

Photobucket

LES POP-UP DE CHANEL. The Chanel Summer 2010 limited collection. I would go for the Chanel Mistral Nail Polish. Mistral No.517 is a pale, delicate pink with a cool almost flaky shimmer. I also think the colours on the two glosses looks beautiful, even if I'm not a big fan of lipgloss myself. Just can't stand the texture and I hate it when my hair sticks to it...

Complicated Universal Cum - I can hardly wait

Official Video for "I can hardly wait" by Complicated Universal Cum released on Fake Diamond Records.

"As when I look at the sun knowing that within my reach of mind the exact same sun is the main reason I’m able to think at all. As when I know for sure that nothing I will ever do, think or feel will signify anything to eternity. As when I know that there are wrong days to say something right. As when I know that nothing is wrong or right. As when I know that there is nothing between zero and one even though there is always something in between. As when I know that all I know is that I don’t know. This could be the truth! You may find it depressing? Or even beautiful? To me it's complicated universal cum."

Bye bye, Phi

Photobucket

The recession has claimed another victim - PHI, the six year old label
based in New York, found by Susan Dell in 2003, is shutting down by the end of this month. Such a pity! I absolutely LOVED Andreas Melbostad's debut pre-fall collection.

Cool Idea! Color Picker by Jinsun Park

The idea is simple. You hold the pen up to an object and scan the color. The RGB ink cartridge inside the pen mixes the color for you, and then you can write with it. Check it out here
