Vitamin B Though all vitamins are essential for the body, vitamin B is most essential for the skin. This is because vitamin B makes collagen and elastin which keep the skin supple. Essential Fatty Acids Both Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids help to retain moisture in the skin. Olives and olive oil, avocado and avocado oil, fish oils, and nuts are rich in these nutrients.
